A Dynamic Start at NEC Birmingham
From March 22nd to 23rd, the passion for cycling was high at the 2025 National Cycling Show, held at the NEC in Birmingham. As one of the UK’s most anticipated events for cycling enthusiasts, the show brought together riders of all levels—from daily commuters to off-road adventurers—all under one roof.
For Heybike, this show was more than just an exhibition—it was a chance to connect with the cycling community, showcase our latest innovations, and demonstrate how our e-bikes are transforming urban mobility across the UK and beyond.
Bold Showcase of New E-Bike Models
At our booth, we proudly presented four remarkable e-bikes: the EC1, EC1-ST, EC Compact City, and EC Compact Sport. Each model appeals to different riders and caters to their specific needs.
- EC1: This model stands out with its stylish design and excellent performance. Equipped with a 250W motor and a 100km long-range battery, the EC1 delivers efficient rides for urban commuters without range anxiety. Its lightweight frame makes it easy to maneuver through city streets.
- EC1-ST: For riders seeking a more accessible design, the EC1-ST features a step-through frame that makes mounting and dismounting easy for everyone, especially senior riders and beginners. It has the same performance as the EC1, just with a friendlier frame design.
- EC Compact City: This bike is a game-changer for city dwellers. Its compact frame allows for easy storage, while still providing a smooth, enjoyable ride with an internal gear hub. EC Compact City is tailored for busy urban environments where space and convenience are paramount.
- EC Compact Sport: It is made for riders looking for a bit more thrill in their urban adventures. EC Compact Sport features two rugged tires, a sporty build, and strong power to tackle hills and trails. This bike is small in size but big on performance.

Feedback and Interactions from the Cycling Community
We were delighted to see so much enthusiasm for our new e-bike lineup. Customers were eager to get a closer look, ask questions, and even take our demo models for a spin. The feedback we received was incredibly valuable. One visitor said, “I like the sleek design on EC1-ST. It is lightweight and so easy to ride!” We had insightful conversations about riding preferences, commuting needs, and the growing British interest in sustainable transportation.
We also hosted workshops that focused on e-bike maintenance and the benefits of electric cycling. These sessions were well-received, with attendees actively engaging in discussions, eager to learn more about how e-bikes can enhance their daily lives. The direct interaction with the cycling community allowed us to understand users' needs and refine our future offerings.

Beyond the Show: What is Heybike’s Next Step?
Heybike is just getting started, but we are growing fast! Our presence in the UK and EU markets continues to strengthen, and events like the National Cyclin Show remind us why we do what we do. We’re committed to making e-mobility more accessible, affordable, and exciting for everyone.
Looking ahead, we’re exploring new retail partnerships, expanding service support, and working on next-gen models that push the limits of comfort, range, and tech integration. Jason, CEO at Heybike, stated, “We believe in creating e-bikes that are reliable and enjoyable to ride, thus encouraging more people to choose sustainable transportation options.”
